A couple friends surprise gifted me this candle

I have become pretty close to two ladies (*good friends with each other) here in my building. Yesterday I was sitting downstairs when they came in to the community room. One stopped, and said to me "Stay here, don't go anywhere) and left. She came back a few minutes later with this candle. She said it was from them because I am so nice, and have helped them often with things,,,mostly just listening if they needed to talk, both have been going through some personal and medical issues.
It was so nice of them, I was surprised.

We had talked about these candles *available at Walmart) as they smell great and have wooden wicks. They knew I wanted one.

Very nice! I buy a lot of candles from Wal Mart. They're reasonably priced and many are extremely well-scented.

Timely post - niece's birthday is coming up and she loves candles. I was thinking about shopping on Amazon, but there's a Walmart close by

Can't quite read the label - did try using a graphic program, but when I enlarged it, it was too pixilated to read.

Brand is WoodWick. The top is wooden, as well as the wick. This is a tall one, but there are also shorter ones top has WW on it. Sorry cannot take better pics now..phone is on charge, was almost out of charge, Also available through Amazon

What a nice gift, Marie!

My wife was given one of the Ww Trilogy candles (post #5) a while back and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The scent was nice, although we prefer the smell of candles by Yankee Candle, but this one also had a very appealing sound made by the burning wooden wick. It's sort of a pleasant sputtering sound ... relaxing, cathartic.

When that one was gone she bought another one, also by WoodWick, that was a long oval shape with a equally long, maybe 4" or 5", wick. The sound made by that one wasn't as good. We'll get another but will go back to the round shape with the narrower, maybe 1", wick.
