a covid case in our apartment complex

In my apt complex,there are two buildings,today our management company informed all shareholders a person in the building I live in has tested positive for the Covid-19 virus.This resident has followed all local Dept of Health guidelines,still under quartantine in their apt
We've faithfully have followed all the necessary guidelines in /out of the buildings wearing masks,social distancing,using hand sanitizers.,ever since the virus started.There are 2 couples in their late 30's,early 40's who live in either building,majority of us are 60's-80's age range.We were doing so well,I've talked to couple resident friends,we agree this has put us in anxiety mode the not knowing

We live in a three building complex. A couple of months ago, there was a notice posted in all the elevators that a person in one of the other buildings has tested positive for Covid-19 and was
self-quarantining. As with you, we wear masks, use sanitizer entering/exiting the building, and social distance. All we can do, is continue with what we're doing.
 

This morning,we received a memo from our property manager,Michael about the shareholder who tested positive for Covid-19.The person told management company&him,they had no contact with any other shareholders.After eliminating most of the other residents I see daily,I sensed who it was.I've seen this person in the morning,walking to the corner to get the bus to go to work.I haven't seen said person in 2 weeks.I'm saying nightly prayers for the shareholder,hoping for a full recovery
 
Hope you stay healthy @moviequeen1, unless everyone is testing frequently, there may be others who are positive and not aware, or not having any symptoms. All we can do is wear our masks around people, social distance, keep our hands clean and away from our faces. I hope the person who is sick with Covid gets well soon.
 
Our complex has low buildings with 12 apartments each and townhouses which are separated by a parking lot. One of my neighbors who lived in a town house passed away from COVID early on. I'd seen her not long before because she worked at the club where my son deejayed. It was rumored that another neighbor who lived in the low building across from me died from COVID but that was never confirmed.

As long as you're doing all you can to follow the safety protocols, hopefully you'll be fine Movie Queen.
