A Davey Do Christmas Card

Off topic, but your first picture reminded me that growing up in Chicago, we had a fireplace. The house was built around 1900, and at one time it may have been an actual fireplace, but eventually it was converted to one of those original old time gas fire log things, and even later the gas log was removed, maybe because it was a safety hazard. The actual flue was long ago bricked over with one small opening, which was basically just one half a brick left out in the back of fireplace maybe that was where the gas line came through.

My parents assured me that Santa could squeeze through that hole. I was skeptical, but every Christmas morning it was obvious that Santa had come during the night. Then one Christmas Eve when Santa did appear in our living room, he just barged in through the front door. I wondered about that too, but you know, it was Santa, and you don't question Santa's methods. I guess sometimes Santa just had to make do and adjust to particular situations. But he was always on time.

Thanks, @JustDave for getting off topic, talking about yourself-probably your favorite subject- and not commenting on my art.

It's one of the many reasons I rarely go online anymore.
