Watched a documentary about injuries and drugs used to smother injuries (pain) in the NFL. This reveling on hour program highlighted several former NFL players and the many, many injuries they suffered during their player years. The teams locker rooms had shelves with open jars of opioids of all varieties and the players called it a candy store. Bottom line is smoking marijuana eliminates pain while some of the players said they were taking as many as 30 pills per day. One player said he was so stoned all the time he could not remember at night playing a game that day. Jim McMahon of the Chicago Bears said he moved to Arizona because reefer is legal. He said from the day he started smoking he has never taken one pill and others claimed the same. What is sad is the NFL bans the use of marijuana by players yet pour thousands of pills down their throats. I don't know how difficult it is to get medical marijuana but seeing so many posts about pain on this forum if I could get some I would. Meanwhile I have a bottle of Extra Strength Tylenol, a bottle of Aleve and a bottle of ibuprofen.
