A few Daffodils to brighten your day.

The Daffodils are just starting in New Jersey and now they say we may get a bit of snow tomorrow. Rather than have them freeze I decided to pick the first ones for my kitchen table.

It was a good idea for you to cut them and enjoy them indoors. I agree that the drop back to cold, would freeze those fragile petals.
We are getting the back and forth temps here too, well North of you. The very first daffodil leaves are just barely breaking ground. No petals here yet, to freeze over tonight.

Cut a pretty pink hyacinth from my front lawn to bring inside....it smells so nice, mmmm.....
