They’re hot peppers and I’ve never used them because o don’t care for spicy food.

Anyone have any suggestions or experience about how I can

1. store them

2. incorporate them into my cooking

I am not for spicy either. My mom would have taken them, added some sort of vinegar concoction to make a hot pepper sauce. She and my husband loved that kind of thing to sprinkle on veggies, soups, etc.

If you don't enjoy spicy food, you are under NO obligation to use them. And those are very hot peppers, btw. They look like Thai or bird's eye chiles.

Find someone who really likes spicy food and give them away, or just compost them. And next time, tell your friend you're sorry, but you're just not able to use such hot chile peppers, and she should give them to someone else.

You don't have to tell her that you didn't use them at all. It was excess produce for her, she wasn't able to use them up either!

Oh there's lots of recipes online Ronni... I don't have chillies in MY food but estranged o/h can't live without them, the hotter the better... he'd have chillies in toothpaste... so I knew how to cook with them.. The Asian pepper.. which is what you have.. is VERY hot...much hotter than Jalapeños... so be verrrry careful.. use gloves to chop and slice..

How 'bout using them for a craft project,
such as, shellac them and then form letters, and glue to a board, in order to post a short sign!
😁 😄 ☺️

Ronni, this is for someone that you don't like, suggest that if they were to be inserted in a certain orafice, then they would never again suffer with 'piles'. 😊

If you decide to use them, a word of caution. After handling them wash your hands thoroughly and do NOT put your hands near your eyes.
Thai peppers are much more powerful than Mexican chili's. Getting that Thai chili in your eyes is beyond pain.

Those look like chiles de arbol chilies, I usually see them dried and packaged in the store. I like chiles & peppers and would judge them to be "medium" hot.

However, if you don't care for spicy food as others have suggested- find them a home.

Edit: I see Hollydolly ID'ing those as Asian chilies, if they are in fact Asian Chilies and not the Chile de Arbol then they are quite hot!

Those would keep the vampires away. They definately look like chiles de arbol. Both hubby and I don't eat chiles, not even jalapenos.

String them with a needle and thread and hang them up todry.

One or two short pieces of the fresh or dry pepper make a spicy addition to the oil of a stir fry. Remove them from the dish before serving.
