A newbie from Scotland saying Hello

I usually write paragraphs when a sentence would do, so why is when you have to write an introductory passage, your mind can go blank :D

I don't mind discussions and tend to escape them if they get too aggressive but I think I really prefer blogging and writing poetry having given up my attempts to save the world. Hoping to make some new friends on here.

Welcome, Phoenix! I'm an American who moved to Argyll (near Dunoon) in 2000. Not cold right now though as we are spending 2 months in Thailand. :)
 
Thank you Pam & Oakapple, not getting much chance to have a good look around yet so it will keep me out of mischief when all the razzmatazz of the New Year is over and I should have more time.
 
Welcome to the forums, Phoenix! I hope you enjoy them as much as I have. I like discussions,too, but I agree with you that the angry ones need to be avoided. You live in a country that I am hoping to visit - I've been to England but didn''t have enough time to make it up to Scotland. Hoping that I get there in the summer!
