A photography question (for Oy?)

I was told not to take photos looking into the sun, however I see lots of people (most often with 'smartphones' or tablets) just clicking away with no regard to where the sun is.

Can you take pictures with the sun behind the subject? It's not always possible to wait round until you get the lighting right.

Thanks for the link. I don't possess an iPhone - just an ordinary phone and a digital camera, but there seems to be some good tips for photography in general.

Hi there - there are risks with shooting into the Sun if it's bright. Both to your eyes and if the exposure is long, your camera's sensor.

The drawback for most people is that your subject will tend to silhouette - which is only a problem if that's not what you want.

I LOVE shooting into the light as part of a creative expression.
