A pleasant tho not total surprise

Yesterday i got a text from my younger brother. Said he wanted to talk today between 12 and 2. Then this morning said around 3pm. We usually only talk a couple of times a year. He's very busy as a Post Office supervisor. He doesn't write or email.

Last texting was concern over our wildfires last month. I was a little worried something was wrong, but then i started to think he was going to turn up here. Sure enough, almost 3 on the dot he shows up at my door. He got married in February and they are visiting friends and relatives.

Haven't seen him in person since 1988. They're at motel Daughter manages and i'm going down in a bit so we can go out to eat. So happy!!!

What a wonderful Surprise! Have lots of fun.🌹
 
They are doing a whirlwind tour of friends and Relatives in Southwest. Decided to drive on tonight while its cooler but we had long talk and dinner at my favorite restaurant in town.

Love Lilly, my new 'sister', anybody seeing us say our goodbyes would have thought we'd known each other for years.

Hopefully will see them again next year.
