A question for Matrix

Would it be possible to "install" (if that's the correct word) a regular block feature? It would be much more effective and useful than the ignore feature.
 
I've never put anyone on Ignore, so my question is, doesn't Ignore achieve the same affect as blocking someone? Or can they still respond to your posts but you just don't see the responses? Sorry for my ignorance.

yes that's correct. Whoever you have on ignore, still can respond to your posts, but you can't see it...

I would like an option to put a whole thread on ignore, if that was possible to do...
