A SARS-CoV-2 antibody injection?

My medical clinic is part of the University of California in Davis (UCD), which is lucky for me because they always have super current equipment and treatments. So anyway, one of their medical research and development departments believes they've engineered a SARS-CoV-2 injectable antibody that I suppose could possibly replace covid vaccines.

Here's their study.

I'm sure that substantially better drugs/vaccines will be found in the future, to control/eliminate the dangers of this virus. I'm just glad that the current vaccines were developed as fast as they were. If we were still fighting Covid, without any vaccines, the death toll would be in the multiple millions by now.

And most of those would be people in struggling regions like parts of India and Africa. It angers me that our vaccine producers didn't donate more covid vaccines to those regions. I hope they do a lot better if there's a Next Time. If this antibody injection proves effective I'd like to see it shared generously world-wide.
