A Texas Redhead!!

I remember scorpions, tarantulas and rattlers being in Texas when I was there, but that thing looks scarier!
 

Good grief, Ken. Are they dangerous to humans?

In an article posted on the Texas Parks and Wildlife website, Ben Hutchins refers to the creature as "one bad dude." Hutchins states they usually hang out "under logs, rocks or leaf litter" but sometimes "enter houses" (and will obviously crawl on broom). He says they are "capable of piercing the skin and injecting a painful toxin," so watch where you step.

Hey, Ken, no offense to you and the other Texans on SF, but for me this is just another reason to stay away from Texas! :eek1:
 
That looks like some kind of mutant from a horror movie!

Luckily here in West Texas we don't seem to have a lot of creepy crawlies - I hate them!!
