Check out this Texas-sized centipede at Garner State Park in the Hill Country. It's called a Texas Redhead and is known to prey on lizards and toads..

In an article posted on the Texas Parks and Wildlife website, Ben Hutchins refers to the creature as "one bad dude." Hutchins states they usually hang out "under logs, rocks or leaf litter" but sometimes "enter houses" (and will obviously crawl on broom). He says they are "capable of piercing the skin and injecting a painful toxin," so watch where you step.

Luckily here in West Texas we don't seem to have a lot of creepy crawlies - I hate them!!
