Haruki Murakami
“And once the storm is over, you won’t remember how you made it through, how you managed to survive. You won’t even be sure, whether the storm is really over. But one thing is certain. When you come out of the storm, you won’t be the same person who walked in. That’s what this storm’s all about.”
― Haruki Murakami.

I've heard it this way, If you're the smartest one in the room you need to find another room. I like yours better.

"If we are to reach real peace in this world, and if we are to carry on a real war against war, we shall have to begin with the children. Non-violence is the first article of my faith. It is also the last article of my creed. In my humble opinion, non-cooperation with evil is as much a duty as is cooperation with good."
Mahatma Gandhi.
