A thought so true...

"If you have an apple and I have an apple and we exchange these apples then you and I will still each have one apple.

But if you have an idea and I have an idea and we exchange these ideas, then each of us will have two ideas."

-George Bernard Shaw

Coincidentally this evening, am watching on Youtube for the second time this long 148 minute most excellent and recommended fascinating anthropology documentary that gets to the heart of how humans developed warmongering attitudes once civilizations arose. And not only in Mesopatamia but elsewhere at all but one location where earliest civilizations independently arose that bears on their conclusions.

Psychedelics are illegal not because a loving government is concerned that you may jump out of a third-story window. Psychedelics are illegal because they dissolve opinion structures and culturally laid down models of behavior and information processing. They open you up to the possibility that everything you know is wrong.”

100% on the mark! As for me, I do not read any news about the war in Ukraine nor the Middle East. It is a waste of my time. The Jews and the Arabs have been at it since the late 40s and it just never stops. I stopped watching any war movies about 3 decades ago. My life is just too short and I'm rather busy.

By the way, we could use a newscaster like Walter Cronkite. Today's news people are a "joke." They shout, they interrupt each other and they are hired for political correctness. I get my news from our local paper and I never watch it on TV.
