It looks old, but there's no date in it. I am asking on a FB antique group about it. Maybe it was something given out to kids in Sunday school.

It's been one too many years, but I seem to remember one of my baby siblings had one very similar to yours, Deb, if not identical.

I'm going back 45 (plus) years.

Weren't these kind of a Victorian novelty? I think the Brontes went in for these as well (their own stories)

Judging by the presence of a staple I doubt it's antique but could be vintage.

Where I have seen these before is back in Alberta at Halloween...the minister gave these out to the kids in lieu of candy! I am afraid the kids were not impressed!

@debodun those 'Lilliput Books' were around in the 50s and 60s
I had a Lilliput Webster Dictionary many years ago
'Lilliput' to do with Gulliver's Travels to Lilliput and the Lillitutians
