We've all heard the saying........ 'Get off your backside and do something about it'........Well this fantastic old man has. He has put to shame all those mega-rich people who won't part with a penny of their dosh.

I thankful that man raised all that cash. Yet, I think to be a true hero, being there, one on one, to give aid and comfort is the definition of heroism. Unfortunately, most of us aren't heroic.

At breakfast this morning, the total this super old fella had raised was £5m, last time I looked it was up to £8.5M.

Do you think he will top £10M, or dare I say £15M? More and more people are now saying that the super-rich should come out of the woodwork and dig deep into their pockets to help this and other worthwhile causes, let's hope that they do.

Power to you Tom, you may get a knighthood out of this, lad, and more deserving than certain tennis players.
