About this crazy weather!

We had a brief cold spell earlier this month, when we had several nights below freezing. February is typically our coldest month and I curtail traveling because I missed a flight due to an ice storm a few years ago. So, we're heading into February and Monday is expected to top out at 76 degrees. It's just crazy!

Not bragging. I know you folks have been going through some severely cold temps. I'll get back to you after 3 months of 100+ degrees this summer!

The last couple of days the Phoenix area had cloudy skies and some drops fall with the highs in the lower 60's but next week there are a day or two with a forecast high of 80 so I think our week of winter might be over. However the Phoenix Open is next week and a great majority of time we do get cold and rainy weather for that event so we shall see.....

It was 67° yesterday in NC. I think our cold spells are over and the temps will be up and down through spring.
And, if it's like a lot of years it will be....bang!.....summer. I'm hoping we don't skip spring this year.

Northeast PA. It's been a week of 5 below zero F. temps, but it is winter. But comparing the winters when I first moved here 35 years ago, and today; there is a definite difference in the amount of snow I get and how long it lasts. Back then I used to get snow drifts over my waist; today, about a foot. Back then when it snowed, the snow stayed there till March/April, and you could see built up layers of snow left behind by snowstorms. Today, it snowed about 6 inches about 5 days ago, but most of it is now gone, with grass peeking through.

Thank God it's a warmer day today. About 44 F right now. I don't like either of the extremes in weather.
