By way of introduction, my name is Micky (without the "e") and I'm currently living in a small town just Southwest of Indianapolis. My wife and I moved here two years ago to get closer to her relatives, prompted by COVID and our increasing age. She retired when we got here and nine days from now I'm joining her after a long career in technology marketing. We spent the past 20 years in Alpharetta, GA, a suburb of Atlanta so this is quite a change. I have two grown kids and soon to be four grandkids. Both kids are smart enough to live out west where it's warmer.
My reason for joining the forum is two-fold:
1. Looking for advice on senior living items since, like it or not, that's the category I now own a place in
2. In about a week I'm going from daily contact with usually 40-50 people to probably two if you don't count my dogs.
So I'll ask my share of dumb questions, venture an opinion or three and try to add a little value to random conversations. Looking forward to meeting you!
