Academy Awards.....Red Carpet fashions

I have a question about the dresses some of the stars were wearing at the Academy Awards. How the heck do they sit down in their seats during the Awards? Some of those dresses stick out here .... and there .... and over there..... They look like they're five feet wide. Or sticking out in back five feet. There are things sprouting out from the shoulders. There are things dragging behind. There are things sticking up.

How do they get in and out of their limos? Or.....more practically....how do they use the bathroom facilities? I guess they don't.

I can barely fit into a theater seat and I'm not wearing anything special. The only thing that sticks out are my elbows, for dang's sake.

I have no answers. All I can say is I refuse to wear anything that isn't comfortable.

Maybe they don't actually stay! Sashay down the the red carpet, straight out the back-door, jump in the limo and back in your pj's on the sofa within 15 minutes tops.
