Last year I found out that I had a tare in my Achilles tendon with scaring from my past surgeries on my ankles from my surgery to help​ with my CP .Anyway I wore a cast for 7 weeks then a brace for few more and still I am in pain with it . I hope that none of you have to go through this because it can be very painful at times .The doctor said this is something that I am always going to have to deal with long term , because of the scarring .Day by day I try to just do my best move forward with it and do things to keep my mind off of the pain ...Leah
 

Sorry to hear you're having such pain Leah, I wonder if topical application of Magnesium Oil would help you. It worked very well for me when I had Plantar Fasciitis, not a tear but painful tendon in the arch of the foot on the bottom, also helped with muscle cramps almost immediately, or back pain from muscle strain. http://www.globallight.net/ProductIn...?productid=245

You're welcome, it can make the skin itchy but it only lasts a short time, not as bad depending on what part of the body you're using it on. It's pricey, but one bottle lasts a long time, you don't need to use much. Lotion can be applied over it to help any itching subside. If I use it on my foot or leg, no problem, when used on my back I'll get some itching. I've tried another brand over the years, but this is the best in my opinion.
 
When I broke my foot and ankle I also pulled or tore my achille's tendon. That pain was worse than the pain in my foot or ankle. It has still not resolved.

Nor has mine but I do my best day to day with it Leah
