Hey, I remember "Cocoon". It was about these old geezers (opps, sorry: senior citiezen) who were suppose to go into these pods to live a long life. I forgot the rest.

Wow! You know all about it. I loved Maureen Stapleton as Archie Bunker's wife in All in the Family".

When I looked at the Entertainment section before I posted my thread about his death, I didn't see yours Movie Queen. But I see you posted yours before I posted mine. Strange. They might remove my thread since it's a duplicate so here's what I posted:
I enjoyed him in Cocoon, Cocoon: The Return, F/X & F/X2 all of which I watched twice. I saw Silverado as well...good movie. Although he wasn't my "type", I always thought he was sexy. Something about his smirky smile and the way he carried himself. I once saw an article that referred to him as a "senior citizen sex symbol", so apparently I wasn't alone. Needless to say he was a very good actor, winning two Tony awards as Best Lead Actor, one for Death of a Salesman, the other for Long Day's Journey Into Night. He was also a Golden Globe Winner and was nominated for other awards, including Primetime Emmys. He acted in a host of films, T.V. movies and T.V. shows. Brian passed away of natural causes according to his daughter, actress Elizabeth Dennehy. He was 81. May he Rest in Peace.

I think the first movie I saw him in was "Rambo, First Blood." I remember thinking, "Wow....he sure can play an a--h---!"
He was also great in "The Ervil LeBaron Story" (true story of a religious psycho cult leader).

I had to Google his name to know who he was (I'm plain awful with names), but I recognized him. Attaching picture here to help jog other folk's memories.

I loved that guy! I had a bit of a crush on him.

Cocoon was my favorite. I watched it a few times. But I had to fast forward through the part where Hume Cronyn puts his wife in the pool trying to bring her back. It made me cry too hard.
