actor Ken Osmond who's best known TV role as'Eddie Haskell on 'Leave it To Beaver' '57-'63 died last night age 76
Eddie was one of Wally's buddies who would be nice to parents but really was a bully to younger kids
After the show ended Ken had trouble finding other acting roles,in 1970 he became a Los Angeles cop.He worked as a motorcycle officer. In 1980 he was chasing a car thief was shot 5 times, his vest saved him, went on disability, retired from the force in 1988. In later years,he managed real estate properties in LA County
He is survived by his wife,2 sons R.I.P
Jerry Mathers'Beav',Tony Dow'Wally' are the 2 remaining cast members still with us

I loved is when he was speaking all sophiticated to the parents and then changed it all when he was bullying Beaver
Especially when he spoke to Beaver's parents & he'd use big, educated words & voice his disgust at delinquent behavior.
On one episode I remember, Beaver's mother was describing some other kids' bad behavior to Eddie & he replied, "Mrs. Cleaver, I find such behavior to be particularly juvenile."
And when he came to visit Wally: "Good afternoon, Mrs. Cleaver. Is Wallace home?"

oh he was the best

Type-casting is why so many actors/actresses today don't want to stay on a series for too long. I think Ken Osmond could have become a good dramatic actor.
