actress/TV icon Betty White's birthday is today she turns 99
I've always liked her in no matter what show she has appeared in
My favorite is her role as dim witted'Rose Nylund' in classic NBC sitcom"The Golden Girls' '85-'92.She is the only cast member of that funny show still with us.
Betty has won numerous awards,including 6 Emmys.The last Emmy she won was hosting SNL in 2010
In interviews she has said to keep her mind sharp,she loves doing crossword puzzles.I agree with her
 

I saw on the news this morning that it was her birthday, and Ron and I laughed out loud her birthday plans!! 😂


“Since I am turning 99, I can stay up as late as I want without asking permission!” she told The Associated Press in an email.

White’s low-key plans include feeding a pair of ducks that regularly visit her Los Angeles-area home. Her birthday meal will be a hot dog and French fries brought in — along with a bouquet of roses — by her longtime friend and agent, Jeff Witjas.
 

Betty White is the epitome of her generation's tendency to talk dirty without ever actually saying the words, since doing so was considered crude. In so doing, she has been very entertaining. I think there was a subtle art to talking around the subject so that it is clearly understood what is being insinuated without ever saying the actual words.

Betty White has said many humorous things in her time, a lot of which have been made into memes or quotes with regularity. My all time favorite.......

I just saw her the other day on a 1957 episode of The Millionaire!
 
I was just thinking about her the other day and wondering how close she was to 100 now. I've enjoyed many of the shows she's been in. She's so funny!
