Most may recall that I got a new Dell computer about a month ago ( https://www.seniorforums.com/threads/getting-a-new-computer.81129/ ) and I couldn't be happier with it except for the darn popup ads driving me nutz everywhere I go.

Yesterday someone finally opened the frig door and the little light came on and I realized that I had not installed a ad blocker on the new computer so I installed the free AdBlock Plus (like I had on my old computer) and finally no more ads.

Ahhh relief........

Yes it is good, but you might encounter some sites you use often that might not open, if is favourite site, click on AdBlock and choose to allow.

I don’t use AdBlocker or anything similar for that matter And I don’t see Adds. I don’t have any antivirus software either, or at least not loaded onto my PC. There maybe some software built into my modem though? Which may get updated automatically by by service provider?

If is a Windows Operating system, Microsft Defender Antivirus is built in.
