Thank you all. His funeral is this coming Saturday.
As is typical in the South, there will be visitation with an open casket for a couple hours then the service after that, and finally the burial. The service was going to be graveside, but it’s going to be rainy Saturday so it’s been moved inside.
I will likely be watching my grandkids during the visitation so that William and Paige can attend without them. Paige feels like they’re going to be traumatized seeing their Uncle Chris like that. I agree. I’ll keep them with me, and then bring them to the service after the visitation is over.
