Let's not forget Koko and All Ball!
Koko has had three kittens of her own, All Ball, Lips Lipstick and Smoky. Apparently Smoky lived with Koko for twenty years until she (the cat) died of old age. Since then the local humane society brings kittens for visits. Isn't that cool?

Koko and I lived in the same town (Woodside,CA). She had a chimpanzee friend that they used to bring to town a lot-the kids always loved seeing him.

And I just thought of another unusual animal friendship although I have no pictures. We used to have a little fluffy white dog who weighed in at four pounds. And our daughter had a mini-Lop bunny named Lois. Well whenever Lois managed to escape his cage, the fastest way to catch him was to go and get Lucy the dog and put her on the grass near where the bunny was hiding under a bush.
The minute he'd lay eyes on her, he'd come hop, hop, hopping right into the open where we could scoop him up. Admittedly, the relationship was entirely one sided and was more along the lines of amorous bunny stalker, but hey, it was a relationship right?
