Go back to the U.S. invasion of Iraq. Since then refugees are everywhere,. Then there was Syria and now Afghanistan. African wars are also contributing to the refugee situation. Not to mention South America.
Come to the U.S. We have welcomed (?) over 1 million people through our open border in the south. Added to that, we are now shipping in Afghans. Who knows how many of these fine individuals (sarcasm) are rapists, thieves, terrorists and other slime-balls? At last count, people from over 125 different countries have treaded illegally into what once was a great Nation and now has become the doormat to the world. Hello Wokeness and Good-bye Wonderland.

While the vast majority of these refugees are probably good people trying to escape the madness in Afghanistan, this flood of refugees offers the radical terrorists a perfect way to quietly move to the Western nations....where they can plot and prepare for their future bombings.

Good question. I am sure most of these are good people who will end up being good citizens. And some do have legitimate claims to being particularly at risk as a result of their cooperation with us, like the translators.
However I think we should consider the impact of wholesale migration out of Afghanistan on Afghanistan itself. The people leaving tend to be the best and the brightest, most highly educated, motivated, and ambitious. They also are more pro-western and worldly in their views. Seems to me the more of these people who stay behind the better off Afghanistan will be, and the easier it will be for us to deal with them. I think had many of the Cubans or Iranians who migrated out stayed behind their countries would be better places today. And for the most part these were good people and in the US anyway have contributed to our economy and society in positive ways.
There will be an uproar.....they are given all the council houses and benefits ,that’ our youngsters can't get.......young couple are having to save thousands for their first deposit on their first homes, because they don’t qualify for council places, but now the refugees ,are just getting everything..........
