After much diligence, a dog rescue/rehome agreed to take Charlie

I must have started advertising Charlie for rehoming more than a month ago and finally it seems that he will go into the care of a dog enthusiast who finds replacement homes for dogs surrendered by owners.

From the beginning, a made the terrible mistake of separating Charlie from the three dogs we already had. Not entirely to blame, my wife mother-henned, her dogs thus establishing a protective barrier to keep Charlie away and all alone. I could kick myself for relinquishing my power over to her to be used for all sorts of reasons and schemes to rid herself of male significance.

Finally, Febuarary 25, Charlie will be out of the house, eventually to another family who I hope will do a better raiseing him than I did.

Sometimes no matter how much we love a dog they just aren’t a good fit with the other dogs. I had this happen once but luckily my best friend wanted the dog and he fit in perfectly with her pack.

We have a saved lil Cotton that lived with 4 other dogs in a Kitchen thru her adult puppyhood and we got her at 8 months old.
She thought she was a cat and would curl at our necks on the ez sofa and chairs. She loves meeting kids, other dogs and people.
She is in a home with a Spade Maine Coon and another spade Female cat. All are friends, I think. Haha Not so sure about that.
They get along mostly, sometimes a yell occurs. but they our petz and they have ta have us.
