Ageless Items

The world needs more love
I was just looking at a chair that I've had since I was 10-12 years old. It is still in great shape, although I have no idea where it's matching desk is at this time.

This chair will be here long after I'm gone. I dunno why I posted this, it's just kind of mind blowing. How many items do we have in our collection that surpassed their owners? How many stories can old mirrors tell?

It's a nostalgic feeling. I still have a few decorative things of my mother's. (3) Things she had before I was born; remembered from when I was a toddler.

I know the feeling.

I am using many kitchen bowls, serving dishes and a favorite pot from my grandma.
Many times I will put the same foods that she served in the exact dishes.
I have many decorative doilies that family members made who are long gone. Every lamp has one.
These things bring back so many wonderful memories.
I also have garden hand tools that my grandpa and dad used. I use them in remembrance and they bring me comfort.
