That’s ok, I guess, but there is software that has been out for quite awhile. In the law enforcement end, we could send missing children pictures to the FBI or the NCMEC and they could photo enhance the faces years ahead. The State Police now have their own software.

Also, I've seen cops recreate faces from a skull

I don’t know of any police that recreate faces from a skull, but we have used forensic reconstructionors or years ago some archaeologists that had the skills would do their best to recreate a face on a skull that was found and was several years old.

These reconstuctionists are amazing. Personally, I have never used one, but I have seen others that have hired these people to put a face on a skull thar was found.
