There are untold billions of other planets and I'm sure many of are populated with people similar to us. Some are most likely far more advanced than we are.

Just look at the advances us earthlings have made in the last 100 years. What advances in technology might there be on planets that have been around for hundreds, thousands, or even millions of years longer than us? It boggles the mind.

I'm interested in the theory that visitors from other planets may have come here in the past and made us what we are today.

Rkunsaw, that is an area that i am extremely interested in as well ! I was raised as a Christian, but I think the Bible story of Creation and the earth being only 6000 years old is wrong. Then I looked at the evolution theory, and I can see where things have evolved over the eons; but that does not explain the sudden change from primitive man to the highly educated people that seemed to suddenly appear on the planet. We still have no explanation (that actually seems plausible) for some of the ancient structures they built.
I watched a video by Lloyd Pye, and it seems to explain a lot of things, at least to me, in a way that makes sense to me. He studied the possibility of humans being modified, and the video talks a lot about the possibility of genetic modification in both humans and animals.
The video is on youtube, and it is called "Everything you know is wrong". It is worth watching, but long; so pick a time when you are not busy, to watch it.

YUP, I too believe they are out there and hopefully they are so far advance they know everything about us.
Knowing how wacky the people on this planet are,we've been cross off their "must visit planet."
 
never bought into it. plenty of sightings but a lot of hoax's to. hollywood has cashed in. big time
