Do you think that aliens exist?


I find it hard to believe that this is the only planet in the Universe where life developed.But I can't prove that of course.
 

I've seen strange lights in the sky that couldn't have been made by aircraft as we know them.

Once in the SF Bay Area I saw a light race across the sky ... it was at night, and it wasn't a tiny light but not too big either. Later on the 11pm news the newscaster (I think her name was Terilynn Joe, channel 7 ABC) mentioned it, as apparently a lot of people saw it when it passed over SF and the East Bay Area (which is where I was.)

Also, when I first moved north to Siskiyou County I saw a tiny green light flying around near the top of Mt. Shasta.

I can't say either incident was proof of aliens. It could have been some other origin.

Not something I give a great deal of thought to furry, I have enough trouble coping with humans !

I think it very likely that there are other intelligent life forms in the universe, but I doubt any have visited our planet.

Considering the mind boggling enormity of the universe it seems absurd to me to think that our tiny planet is the only one with intelligent life.
 
Why not? My only question is why many people think that aliens would be more advanced technologically etc. Could there be some that are less advanced than us?
Interesting and imaginative to play with the idea though :). I have family and friends, some of whom buy it entirely and others who don't at all. I'd need a whole lot more information, just sayin'.
Classic sci-fi writers were unbelievably prescient about how our "highly advanced" civilization/society could degrade humans. That concerns me way before anything an alien might cause to happen.

I think that it's a real possibility.

The Nazca lines in Peru, pyramids in Egypt, the Inca civilization, even the idea of God sending his son into the world all make me wonder if we had a little help from another world.

IMO it's good to keep an open mind be a little bit curious and at the same time a little bit skeptical.

If nothing else it's fun to ponder the possibilities.
 
I do not believe in aliens and I do not believe there is any life as we know it (humans) anywhere else in the universe.

Our planet is a stroke of luck and so is human life.

All those lights in the sky and whatever never come to a proof of any kind.

Roswell was a hoax.
 
An indepth study was done addressing whether the aliens would be hostile of freindly. The study concluded they would be hostile.
