Always with me..

I have a small flashlight in my purse.
The only time I really use it is in the movie theatre,to see what time movie actually starts after seeing all the previews

Funny to read about everyone's cell phones. ;) Mine is with me 2/47 but the difference is I use it all the time! Also my burt's bees chap stick.

I carry a Narcan kit with me everywhere. For those of you who aren't familiar with what that is:

Narcan (a.k.a. naloxone HCl) is a nasal spray used to treat emergency cases of opioid overdose or suspected opioid overdose, according to the drug's website. It's an FDA-approved nasal form of naloxone, a medicine used to counter the effects of opioid overdose, according to the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration (SAMHSA).

My second oldest child is a recovering addict, in recovery for 4+ years now just for day, after 15 years of addiction. I carry this kit, along with a CPR mask, everywhere I go. I am trained in the use of both. I've had to give my kid CPR more than once when he was in active addiction. I've never had to use the Narcan. I PRAY I never will need it, either for him or anyone else. But I'm ready if the need arises.

Still learning to speak smartphone. I have had it 6 months now. It alternates between baffling and infuriating.
I always carry a small Swiss Army knife and use it just about every day.Part of getting dressed in the morning is putting my gear in my pockets. Wallet, knife, keys, tissues and pencil. And I still wear a digital wrist watch.

An ink pen, a cosmetic mirror, a lip stick and a bus pass. Those I rarely use. Now if you asked me about the bottomless pit of my purse when I was working, that would be a different story.

Needle and thread. I have used it on vacation when a button loosened. Also used it for a splinter one time. The hubby even used the thread for dental floss. The last two ideas are not the greatest but it worked in a pinch.
