I also worked in the nursing department. Many a days I wished my office had not been next to the medical/surgical floor. You are in good company, Pam.
I worked in a hospital many years ago and saw all kinds of stuff, but that was the one sight I couldn't handle. The sound of it wasn't all that bad, though...made me want to help the person.
Thanks, I am now covered in goose bumps. lolMy Dad used to do this all the time. He had a paper bag near his chair to spit in.
My sister would have to leave the room. I stayed...it didn't bother me.
I used to squeeze his ugly cysts at the base of his neck too.
Kind of like the Pimple Popper.![]()
I have lots of congestion that I have to cough up with the COPD. Believe me it's not treat for us either. LOL....that gets nauseated with phlegm? My husband will cough up a phleghm and i cover my ears. Hate the sound! And the sound of spitting it out. Ughhhh.
Tell me that i am not alone.![]()

That is exactly why I don't ever complain about my husband. Life is too short. But, I guess it is more noticeable now that he is home since retiring. I am thankful for his getting the much needed rest.I hate add a serious note to this thread bu bodies do make noises..
There were two ladys talking.
One lady said, "I HATE the sound of my husband snoring, and he burps and belches. UGH!" I HATE IT!"
The other lady said,
"My husband died a year ago. I'd give everything I own to be able to hear those sounds again!"
