When I lived in Michigan this would have been great when I had deep snow.

A cute invention....might come in handy in Alaska. I wonder how he got those things into the bed of the pickup....did he have a "hoist". If a 4WD vehicle with good ground clearance, and aggressive tread isn't sufficient, I wouldn't even think about hitting the road.

A good idea, but!

They looked heavy and he looked young, plus
he had a pick-up truck to carry them in, a good
combination.

They need to be shrunk for older people who
drive a normal car.

Still interesting though.

My great Grandfather built one of these to haul mail in the winter
Remember seeing it in the barn, but never in action.

Have seen a few for ATV use. They go very well, power company has some that carry two men and equipment, those guys swear by them.
