Lots of American entertainment is being made overseas and unless you were told, you’d probably never know.

Ireland is popular. The game show, The Floor, flies everyone, including the contestants, there.

Lots of movies are made in Budapest and area. The European cast members have very little trace of an accent. Australia and NZ are popular too.

Those action movies with big stars with exotic settings likely aren’t made to save money. Seems more like a paid vacation for the rich.

Canada has been popular for years because it‘s so close. It’s surprised me to realize how much they must save to fly overseas for a production.

Labor costs are a big factor, in central and eastern Europe. This was on display, with cost cutting on shows like FBI and FBI: Most Wanted. However, FBI: International was spared, with labor costs, production costs, etc.

It seems like most of the "spaghetti westerns" and a lot of the epics were made in Italy or other foreign countries. A LOT cheaper to get that "cast of thousands" when you didn't have to pay minimum wage for them.
