American Pharoah wins - AGAIN! YAY!

Great Story and Tnanks, Applecruncher! :) I Loved watching him win the Triple Crown, and really happy he is ending his Very Impressive career winning the Breeders Cup. He is a Beauty with a Big Heart! :love_heart:
 
Actually my point was that if he was a gelding he'd be on the next truck to a slaughterhouse even if he did win. A very few race horses go on to further careers as riding horses after their racing days are over. And yes I am a 'party-pooper' when it comes to the publics celebration of this horses win because there's a lot that people simply don't understand about that industry.

Doubtful he will be doing the mating though... More than likely his sperm will be stored up and doled out to selected mares for artificial insemination. I think the actual mating process could be considered too dangerous for the mare or the stallion.
 
I've always wondered if the collection was at least pleasurable for the horse... Seems like he deserves something after how he's performed.

I've also wondered what the collector tells folks he does for a living... :cool:
 
If ejaculation takes place, I guess it must be pleasurable for the stud no matter HOW it is accomplished.

It always been for me,,,,,,,,IF I remember correctly.

What do you mean "HE" ? I've seen pictures of WOMEN collecting it. They use a large condom-like deviceand guide" the horse into it.
