I turned on the show America's Got Talent last night and lo and behold, there was my cousin on stage. Of course, she was "X-d" off before she had completed the first ten seconds of her "act", but dang! what a surprise! Can't say I've ever had a relative on national TV before.

ju, what was her act?

She was standing on her head while singing a patriotic song. She's 83 years old, so it's pretty impressive but not exactly a million dollar act.....

I haven't watch that show at all yet this season, would love to see a video of her act!

They have the videos on their website. My mother is eager to see it (it's her first cousin, my first-cousin-once-removed, if you want to get technical), so I'm going to run it for her as soon as I get a strong enough internet signal somewhere (the internet here in the RV park isn't good enough to stream videos).

I remember that act. I can't remember exactly what the lady looked like, but I did wonder (and hope) that her bone density is up to snuff in her neck. Gosh, the things that you think about when you get older eh?

She was America's oldest female professional body builder up to a couple of years ago. Looks like she's lost quite a bit of her muscles. She's "unique", to put it mildly.
