An aging dandelion

I don't have any picturesque vistas here, so I focus on the little things. Here is a dandelion that has lost many of it's seeds. I can identify with that. But, it's still worth a look I think. I spotted it in the yard yesterday.

I love it. Sometimes we don't stop to see the beauty in such a simple little plant. I don't know how dandelions got such a bad wrap to begin with.

Thanks for the comments. If you have a beautiful lawn, dandelions are something you don't want. As you can see in the photo, my yard doesn't fit that description. Anything that's green is OK with me.
