Annual July 4th hot dog eating contest.

I hate math... but I couldn't help myself. Nathan's skinless regular size dogs have 550mg of sodium. Times 62 is 34,100mg. In just the dogs. The buns would probably average what? 200mg at the lowest? So 12,400 more mg. Staggering. At Joey's age, you'd think that would be a concern?! 🌭🌭🌭

(I won't even talk about the fat and nitrates in the dogs or carbs in the buns... good golly!)

To say nothing of space. Where does he put them and how does he keep them down?👀

They say it's about stretching the stomach and working out.

That being said I think these contests are disgusting waste of food that could've been prepared for the hungry and not the attention seeking

Never found myself at Nathan's on July 4th because I find it so disgusting! It's worse than the 'Mermaid Parade!' another unholy Coney Island event!
