Another Delivery Driver Story

Yep that's been known to happen here sometimes... too lazy to write out a not at home card..or knock a neighbours door to accept the package ...so instead they shove it in the wheelie bin regardless if it's due to be emptied.. or not..

That's really even hard to believe! I've seen them throwing packages on porches from a distance before, but this is really too much. So far it looks like Amazon delivery leaves a lot to be desired.

The news report said that the driver is not an Amazon employee but a contractor courier service. Just a shame how uncaring and incompetent people can be, though. Amazon responded that they have identified the driver and it has "been handled."

I do have some sympathy with the drivers, they have such a lot to deliver in such a short time, and at least here in the Uk where our roads are choked with traffic it's a hard job to be a delivery driver and time is their enemy ...but to put it in the wheelie bin is just beyond the pale. There's been many complaints about a company here who deliver for Amazon..who leave the packages in the bins without even a card through the letterbox to say it's even there...
