They're part of a (Fundamentalist) "Christian" cult.. the couple had 19 kids, and a t.v. show because of it.. not only became known for their physical abuse of their children, but covering their first son's sex crimes too.

The show was on cable (I haven't had cable t.v.), but was canceled when it was learned the parents knew about their other son's sex crimes and covered/lied for him.

Didn't even know. I heard a bit about it years ago, but didn't follow it.

And between Josh Duggar and this brother of his, it'd be curious to know how many other crimes haven't yet come to light from these two creeps or their other family members.
