@hollydolly I heard yesterday that they are now going to allow cameras in the courtroom during his trial....No Cameras in the court ?...Nooooo... I've been waiting for this trial...dam it...
I saw yesterday that they said it could take a week just for jury selection...Chad Daybell..on Court TV..(2nd /3rd day)
have you not heard or seen the trial of his wife, Laurie Vallow Daybell.. who instigated the deaths of her own children, her brother, and her husband at the time.. in the name of being Gods chosen one along... with Chad daybell..the guy she married after they killed his wife...I guess I was out to lunch or something, but I hadn't heard about this guy. From what I skimmed through, supposedly these were religiously inspired killings . Some can have delusions about being a deity, and believe in cultish myths, but somehow committing insurance fraud, seems to be well grounded in the real world.
Idaho man Chad Daybell to be tried in 3 deaths, including those of children who were called 'zombies'
Nope. Didn't know anything, until I read it in this thread.have you not heard or seen the trial of his wife, Laurie Vallow Daybell.. who instigated the deaths of her own children, her brother, and her husband at the time.. in the name of being Gods chosen one along... with Chad daybell..the guy she married after they killed his wife...
She has been sentenced to life .. his trial is now beginning...
Vallow-Daybell....on Court TV...
In Idaho
But, No in court cameras.
How much interest...will that..can that be?
You can imagine how HUGE a news item it's been when even we in the UK know about it, and saw it all unfold on TV as American police and Media were desperately trying to find her children.. following the couple and asking them what they'd done with the children.. and being ignored.. .Nope. Didn't know anything, until I read it in this thread.
yes and that's half the reason it's going to take so long for jury selection. Most people can't spend 10 weeks away from their jobs and their lives.. so there's going to be a lot of people who will not be serving, and of course they have to go through them one by one, asking them questions and hoping for the right answers ... I think there's 200 people on the list to whittle down to 13...@hollydolly..not only that..jury selection..trial is suppose to 'take' up to 10 weeks!
