I am almost 66, have some grey hair but not as much as I want. I have some wrinkles, but the grey hair and wrinkles tell the tory of my life. It's not all good nor all bad. For the most part, it was pretty good.

I've had some interesting jobs and also some that bored me to tears. The will come later if anyone is interested. And, yes, I as a hippy back in the da.

My sleeping pill is kicking in, so need to hit the pillows before I fall of the bed. I bid you all a goodnight, ad I will be back.

Hi Leotie, good to have you with us!

Thank you both! It feels good to be around people that know what I'm talking about when I drift back to the 50's. Nothing against the younger folks there. To give you all an example, one of the tenants had a son visiting and we were talking in the lobby. I told him how old I was and he got all excited and asked me if I knew any hippies. I laughed and told him I WAS a hippie back then. His eye go big as dinner plates and I sat there for a couple of hours telling him about hippies. When he finally left I realized that I was final at the age when young'uns thought I was hot stuff because I had been a hippy!

Raven, thank you for the warm welcome! From what I've seen so far, I think I am going to really enjoy this; I already feel at home here.

Thanks, Jim It feels good to get the welcome I've had, AND to be able to talk to people more my age. I don't have anything against younger folks, I do have a son that is 35 now, and I love him to no end, but when I start talking about the past, sometimes he gets a glazed look o his face.

hollydolly, I'm glad I'm not the only one! I don' recall doing that when I was younger, I was always ready to listen to what my beloved Granny was telling me. She was way too interesting to ignore.

Hello, Lee.. I would dearly love to live in Canada, been wanting that just about all my years from my 20's to now. The people that I've met from Canada or talked to seem like such great people. There is that thing with the southern accent though.
