Another social security scam

I got 2 phone calls from someone saying that my social security number is suspected of being used in illegal activities. They gave me a number to call immediately. Then they wished me luck if I don't call.

How shameless are these scammers? I've never experienced this one before.

Everyone should keep in mind that social security will never call you. They will contact you by letter only, or at least that’s what they are supposed to do.
