Another movie actor I've liked for years,Anthony Hopkins is 80 today

Shadowlands '93,he plays British writer,C.S. Lewis
Legends of The Fall '94-Brad Pitt,Aidan Quinn,Henry Thomas play his sons
I did see Silence of The Lambs,'91he and co-star,Jodie Foster were terrific,movie is not for the squeamish.The book by Thomas Harris is more graphic
He won Best Actor Oscar for his role as 'Hannibal Lecter'.
He has won 2 Emmys:
lead actor in TV movie/mini series'The Lindburgh Kidnapping" '76,'The Bunker" '81 he played Adolph Hitler
He received his Hollywood Walk of Fame Star in '03 Sue

My husband who is 25 years younger that AH ... is often mistaken for a young Anthony Hopkins..but the funniest time was when we were overseas in Southern Spain and we were in the Notary office with our lawyers and it's all very serious and sombre, and as we were ushered into the Notarios' office, the Secretary who could speak no word of English, gasped, and called out excitedly OOOOh.... Anthoneeee 'Opkins... ...lol..that broke the ice
