Since the antifa started in Europe not surprising mass car vandalism as a form of protest has come to the US. This has been going in places like France and Germany for several years now.

Whew, for now my manual trans economy car should be ok until it the movement morphs into the I don't have a car so you shouldn't either

It's been going on in my city for years, not an organized movement but individuals who see a nice car parked on the street and decide to key it as they walk by.

Very sad world.

To me it's a form of class envy and/or resentment-'you have I don't'. And these vandals also don't realize that many of these high end cars are leased, not owned. The driver is up to his neck in credit debt with lease & insurance payments alone. Many have jobs that require high end vehicles especially if they drive bosses and clients around for business. Yes there's some vanity & hubris in with high end car owners but there is also some necessity.

I just hope vandalizing cars doesn't become a fad in protest world because sooner or later any car will be a target.

I don't think every car will become a target. It's what happens when economic inequality becomes a serious problem. I don't condone it. But I understand the motivation behind it.

This whole thing is very strange to me.

This group opposes the gentrification of their neighborhood so they burn the homes in order to save the neighborhood from gentrification.

Where will they live when they are done saving the neighborhood.
