I'm always amazed that, to some, "the government" is a thing. The "government" does this or that. It's not. It's just a collection of people, who have a job. I have been employed by city, county, state or national governments for most of my life. And, I never enslaved any of my fellow citizens. The Watchmen live in that fantasy as government is a huge, malicious beast. It's the same sort of fantasy that produces "crisis actors", instead of shooting victims. It seems to me, that those Watchmen type groups are a sort of cult, based on fantasy.
