I hated school which for me was back in the 50's. The only subjects that interested me was science, penmanship, art, and reading if the book was on a subject I enjoyed. The rest of the time I zoned out just waiting for the bell to ring. I'm surprised I didn't get left back.
These days I'm finding that I love history, the civil war is a favorite, biography's on most anyone except political and sports figures. I watch the Discovery and History channel all the time and enjoy books on these subjects as well.
We also had sewing class which I dreaded and just recently I bought a sewing machine that I'm finding very enjoyable and relaxing.
I have a lot to catch up on after all these years but it keeps me occupied.
Does anyone have interests now that they found uninteresting back in the day?
