Any TV or print ads that bother you?

I know we have had threads about favorite commercials, but here is the opposite. Any that really grate on you? I have a few. While I see myself as far from a prude, but the ones for "male enhancement" really bother me. Do we really need to see these? Also, all the ads for different drugs..I think this is part of why costs are so high.
On the same line, do you think the anti-smoking ads really work? I am bothered by the ones that show people "sharing" what has happened to them due to smoking. Even if the people agreed to it, I find it a bit exploitive. The one they are showing now, with the woman dancing with her seriously ill husband really disturbs me. (The one where they are dancing to Que Sera Sara)

Any prescription drug ad on TV bugs the heck out of me, and when they start to list all the side effects I have to roll my eyes. Just saw one while eating dinner that said it might kill your unborn baby, I told my husband, yeah, give me that one.

Bob, you made me laugh, my husband also absolutely hated that jingle when it was playing on the radio, it didn't bother me that much. When I started playing the video just now, I clicked it off as soon as I recognized the song. He's in the next room watching TV, and if I gave him that earworm again he'd never forgive me. :D

Ads for "over 50's life plans" - basically to provide a lump sum when you die. It's all, "did you hear that Old Fred just snuffed it and he was only 103. Oh dear, I must rush out and buy the Acme over 50's life plan so that my mates can get blind drunk after I've gone. Then they can say I've never bought a drink in my life (laughs)"

I also detest the Bingo ads. Everyone always wins, nobody ever loses.. Now, how does that work? And you can play it 24/7 with an 'app' on your phone which is obviously smarter than you are. They never seem to show the people who have gambled the last of their money trying to 'get rich quick'.

It makes me sad to see commercials with celebrities hawking one thing or another.

Does Tom Selleck really need the money that bad.

I suppose I shouldn't begrudge them making a living but IMO it cheapens their brand.
