One of my sons always has the latest I-phone, and it is an amazing gadget. But, for us a phone is something you use to talk with other people. Period. We have no need for games or other aps. We were perfectly happy with our little 3G flip phones. But, time marches on and we had to convert to something 4G. My wife has a problem with touch screens. They just don't respond well to her fingers for some reason. So, what to do? With a little research I found that 4G flip phones do exist.
I bought two unlocked Alcatel Smart Flip phones for $60 each delivered. They are perfect for us. The keys work just like our old phones so there's no relearning. They do have Wi-Fi and Bluetooth capability and you can install aps and browse the internet. It even has a built in FM radio. And I can ask it what the weather is in Hong Kong, and Google will tell me. Of course, I don't really care what the weather is in Hong Kong, so it will get little use.
